Dr. Fatima Pimentel is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of San Diego. She’s always had a passion for helping others, especially children which led her to pursuing a career goal of becoming a pediatric dentist. Dr. Fatima attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then went on to residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital where she served as chief resident her second year.
After completion of her residency Dr. Fatima wanted to remain in the Midwest, so she moved to Chicago, IL. She practiced Pediatric Dentistry for four years and instantly became a fan of deep dish pizza, Cubs baseball, and hockey. Afterwards, she moved to Detroit, MI for one year where she treated children from underserved communities.
She started to miss family time and warm weather, thus decided to move back to the west coast!
Dr. Fatima is Board Certified by the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, the highest official level of pediatric dentistry training. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She regularly attends national meetings, conferences, and seminars for continuing education in her specialty.
She is an avid sports fan and enjoys attending sporting events. She also loves to cook, travel, and spend time with family, friends, and her new puppy!
