Dr. Morghan Teeters was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from Northwest Christian High School. She attended ASU and UNLV where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology. Dr. Morghan attended dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated with honorable mention. She and her husband were in the same dental class and got married during their 3rd year of school. After dental school, Dr. Morghan practiced as a general dentist in Minnesota, allowing her husband to complete an orthodontic specialty residency program. Dr. Morghan and her family returned to Arizona where she completed an intensive two year pediatric specialty program at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Tucson, AZ in 2015.
Dr. Morghan’s passion is providing comprehensive pediatric dentistry with an emphasis on preventative care. Dr. Morghan gained valuable experience during her residency with many different populations of children, including children with special needs. She has specialized training in higher-level behavior management methods such as sedation and hospital dentistry. She especially is drawn to children and adolescents affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders and medically compromising conditions.
Dr. Morghan is Board Certified by the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, the highest official level of pediatric dentistry training. She is also a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Arizona Dental Association. She regularly attends national meetings, conferences, and seminars for continuing education in her specialty.
Dr. Morghan runs the practice with her husband Chris. They live in Peoria with their three sons, one daughter, and goldendoodle. In her spare time, Dr. Morghan enjoys traveling, going to the lake, and spending time with family and friends. As a mother of four children, Dr. Morghan feels that her commitment to her family helps her to relate and empathize with parents and patients alike. She is committed to her patients and treats each patient with the same gentle care and respect that she would for her own child. She has a large extended family in the Phoenix area, and is fully committed to helping the dental needs of the community.
